The event was held within the framework of inter-municipal cooperation between the communities of Vinnytsia and Münster, at the initiative of representatives of Hospiz lebensHAUS Helmut Hamsen, Monika Elmering, Dieter Wittenbrink.
According to community partners in Münster (Germany), the Hospiz lebensHAUS invited people to a charity concert at the Capuchin Church in Münster on October 12. The residents collected donations for the hospice in Ukraine, which does important work in difficult conditions. The charity concert also aimed to express solidarity with Vinnytsia and Ukraine.
The concert consisted of performances by singer Njeri Weth and guitarist Ingo Hassenstein, who performed jazz compositions. The event also featured a speech by the Deputy Mayor of Münster, Angela Stähler.
The collected donations will soon be transferred to the hospice of Vinnytsia City Clinical Hospital No.3 to purchase materials necessary for medical care for the patients of the institution.
"The Vinnytsia community is grateful to the community of Münster for the support and assistance we receive from our partners. In a difficult time of war for Ukraine, the support of foreign partners is important to us. The hospice, to which the funds raised at the charity concert will be directed, takes care of people who need palliative care and support at the last stage of their lives. Thanks to this initiative, we will be able to improve the conditions for patients and provide them with the most comfortable care,“ said Oleksandr Shysh, Director of the Healthcare Department.
