22 May 2023, 10:41
"These are figures of a Cossack and a German having a friendly conversation against the backdrop of the towers of both cities. They were made by Vinnytsia craftswoman Tetiana Shved," wrote Serhii Morhunov.
The Mayor emphasized that both Vinnytsia and Karlsruhe have a unique and developed transport system, which can be better understood through the exhibitions at the Vinnytsia Museum of Transport.
"But this is not the only surprise that awaited the German delegation at the museum. The highlight of Karlsruhe, as well as Vinnytsia, is its developed and unique transportation system. Karlsruhe can be proud of one of the oldest funiculars in Europe. It also has a tram-train that runs in the city and connects nearby settlements. All of this can be seen in a miniature presented at the Vinnytsia Museum of Transport," the post reads.
The Mayor noted that the delegation was impressed by the exhibition and emphasized that the Museum of Transport Models is a great tourist destination in Vinnytsia that is worth visiting.
