A Delegation of French Doctors Visited Vinnytsia to Exchange Experience and Donate Aid

During the visit to the hospital, the French doctors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the conditions in which patients are examined and treated, as well as to exchange experience with their Vinnytsia colleagues. In addition, the delegation was shown a gynecological room with barrier-free access and told about the inclusivity measures Vinnytsia has implemented in its medical institutions.

Deputy Mayor Halyna Yakubovych noted that the exchange of experience and cooperation with Nancy would be beneficial for the city's healthcare.

"We are grateful to our French colleagues for their visit and the assistance they have given us. We plan to officially establish sister city relations between our cities soon. This will also help develop the medical sector in Vinnytsia. Because there is always a demand for quality medicine, especially in times of war," says Halyna Yakubovych.

The health department of the city council notes that this cooperation will continue to be useful for both Vinnytsia and Nancy doctors.

"The healthcare system in Nancy is quite extensive, and the medical technologies used by healthcare workers are more modern. However, our doctors can also share the experience they gained during the war. In particular, this applies to rehabilitation. Therefore, the cooperation will be useful for both us and our French colleagues," said Oleksandr Shysh, Director of the Health Department of Vinnytsia City Council.
