29 May 2024, 09:07
On May 27, Vinnytsia hosted a meeting of representatives of Vinnytsia city authorities, municipal enterprises, and businesses with entrepreneurs from the Slovak Republic. The purpose of the meeting was to establish cooperation between our community and Europeans on mutually beneficial terms in the areas important for the community's sustainability. In particular, they discussed strengthening the economy, energy, and telemedicine.
Deputy Mayor Andrii Ocheretnyi told the foreign guests about the potential of Vinnytsia community and further development plans on the way to European integration related to the implementation of circular economy principles for environmental restoration.
"We continue to look for new opportunities for the development of our community. In particular, we are interested in using the latest technologies that can simplify, optimize and improve various processes. Today, together with my colleagues, I met with entrepreneurs from the Slovak Republic who are ready to support us in these endeavors," says Andrii Ocheretnyi. "We discussed the possibility of applying new approaches to the warning system, as well as the use of powerful battery systems to ensure the sustainable operation of the critical infrastructure of our community. In the context of the energy crisis that the russians have caused to the whole of Ukraine with their terrorist attacks, this is a very important issue."
The delegates, including CEO IMN Consulting s.r.o. Ivan Mikloš, and partner of IMN Consulting s.r.o. Pavlo Kukhta, as well as representatives of Telegrafia Ukraine Oleksii Neviglovskyi and ASBIS Ukraine Yevhen Hlobenko, discussed the transit export of Ukrainian agricultural products through Slovakia, which will allow increasing foreign exchange earnings in Ukraine and improve the logistics infrastructure for the partners.
The parties also discussed cooperation in the field of telemedicine to provide patients with various types of medical care, including rehabilitation, using modern digital technologies.
