Surgeons from Italy and Latvia Visited Vinnytsia and Conducted Training for Medical Staff of the City Emergency Hospital

Martins Malzubris, Head of the Septic and Reconstructive Orthopedics Department at TOS Latvia, Olafs Libermanz, and Professor Marco Innocenti, Director of the Orthopedic Department at the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute, Italy, visited Vinnytsia. They are engaged in the implementation of modern methods of reconstructive orthopedics and restoration of soft and bone tissue defects of the extremities.
Together with the doctors of the Emergency Hospital, the foreign experts performed several surgical interventions. They operated on patients with limb injuries.
“Thanks to the international experience and support of our partners, we continue to improve our medical services, offering our patients the best solutions in treatment and rehabilitation. This is another step towards the development of modern medicine in Ukraine, and we are proud to be a part of this process. We thank our Latvian and Italian partners for their support and cooperation. We are convinced that together we can do more,” said Oleksandr Shysh, Director of the Healthcare Department of the City Council.
