Vinnytsia Cultural Institutions Held a Number of Online Events to Europe Day

On Saturday, May 21, Vinnytsia cultural institutions held a series of online events dedicated to Europe Day. These were concerts, quizzes, art projects, flash mobs and workshops. Vinnytsia residents and guests of the city could join the art events on the pages of cultural institutions on social networks.

In total, about 10 events took place. The Zoria City Palace of Arts Cultural Institution has launched the project "With Europe in the Heart", where students of the groups made musical and choreographic performances. The Vinnytsia Museum told on its Facebook page about the history of the inscription on the Ukrainian flag and Stanisław Grocholski. Children Arts School Vyshenka held a Visual Art Competition "Traveling in Europe" and a master class on making a postcard for Europe Day.

There was also an exhibition of creative works of students of the art department of the Arts School #2 "Vinnytsia - European City" and many other patriotic and creative events.

"We are grateful to European countries that provide humanitarian aid and other assistance. Given that Ukraine is in the center and in the heart of Europe, these events were appropriate, although they were conducted online. They reminded people of our patriotic spirit and support of other countries," said Maksym Filanchuk, director of Vinnytsia City Council's Culture Department.

The 8th VinBookFest festival was also held as part of Europe Day.

"People are happy because the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian books, Ukrainian literature and history live and tell the world who Ukrainians are. The whole world knows about our victories! With each step, we are closer to victory," says Maksym Filanchuk.
