The humanitarian cargo included, in particular, 24 pallets with 5 different types of stews, as well as four modular gas kitchens.
"Also, for the full operation of the kitchen, we additionally received 5 modules for cooking food, three modules for water and three modules for hot water supply," says Deputy Mayor of Vinnytsia Andrii Ocheretnyi.
These modular kitchens will be deployed in mobile Invincibility Points in the event of an emergency (blackout), Mayor Serhii Morhunov wrote on his Facebook page. Vinnytsia also received more than 3,000 disposable table sets from Münster.
"This will allow to expand the municipal network of food preparation points, and we will be able to provide hot lunches primarily to children and the elderly," Serhii Morhunov noted.
He thanked the German partners for "extremely important and necessary help."
"We appreciate that Münster, with whom we are just beginning the history of partnership, is helping Vinnytsia. Thanks for the support of our good partners from GIZ. We protect common European values, and the support of our friends gives us the strength to endure and win," the mayor added.
We will remind, on December 14, during the online meeting of Münster City Council, in which Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov took part, the issue of concluding a tripartite solidarity agreement between the cities of Münster-Lublin-Vinnytsia was discussed. The German city of Münster came up with this initiative.
