On August 11, Vinnytsia was visited by representatives of the diplomatic missions of Great Britain, Norway, Spain, Georgia, Moldova, Turkey, and China. They met with the leaders of the city and region, and also honored the memory of those who died as a result of the July 14 terrorist attack.

As a result of the rocket attack on Vinnytsia on July 14, 28 people died, 13 victims are still hospital inpatients, four patients were transferred to burn centers in Lviv, four more to Poland.

Representatives of foreign countries expressed their condolences and support to the people of Vinnytsia, and also laid flowers at the scene of the tragedy in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack.

During a meeting with foreign partners, Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov, Head of Regional Military Administration Serhii Borzov, and Regional Council Chairman Viacheslav Sokolovyi discussed the challenges the region faced in connection with the russian invasion.

Vinnytsia Mayor Serhii Morhunov told the representatives of diplomatic missions about the elimination of the consequences of the terrorist attack and the assistance that the community needs.

He noted that preliminary losses are estimated at UAH 240 million, excluding the household building and the "Officers' House". Currently, repairs are ongoing in damaged houses at the expense of the city budget. Attracting donor resources is an important direction of targeted assistance to victims, the head of the community emphasized.

"We are very grateful for the international support of Vinnytsia. The first organization to respond was the American charitable foundation GEM, which provided food packages, and the issue of financing the installation of windows in the house at 35, Vynnychenka Street, with the support of the foundation, is also being discussed. Negotiations regarding the replacement of windows are underway with the representative office of the Red Cross Society in Ukraine," says Serhii Morhunov.

The Secretary General of the GUAM Representation in Ukraine, Altai Efendiev, emphasized that international organizations will continue to work to ensure that Ukraine receives the necessary assistance. "This is a very active gesture for everyone who supports Ukraine, we categorically condemn this terrorist act. We all need to unite to win together. The world understands what is happening. We bow our heads to the indomitable heroism of Ukrainians. This is a fight between good and evil. I think that everything will be Ukraine!" he added.

"This year, we announced humanitarian support to Ukraine in the amount of 220 million pounds. It continues to arrive, in this regard we maintain contacts with humanitarian organizations, with structures such as the UN and others, which are further cooperating with regional representations," says the head of the humanitarian program group of the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Ukraine Saskia Goldman.

The leaders of the city and region also raised the issue of involving the international community in the restoration of the Officers' House and Peremohy Square.

"The Officers' House is an architectural monument of local importance, which was damaged during the Second World War, but was preserved then. We have to save it now, too. Today, this building is a symbol of the resilience of our people. Like the plane, which suffered significant damage on the day of the tragedy, but survived," says Serhii Borzov, head of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration.

"At every meeting with representatives of governments and charitable organizations, we continue to tell and show the truth about russia's war crimes. The support of the whole world is important to us!" noted the Chairman of the Regional Council, Viacheslav Sokolovyi.

Foreign partners noted that cooperation with the representations of embassies and international organizations at the regional level will deepen.
